High School Diplomas
Students enrolled in our High School Diploma Program who have met our graduation requirements will be awarded with a personalized 8.5" x 11" diploma in a padded, hinged cover. Diplomas are signed by both the school (administrator) and a parent or guardian (instructor). If a parent or guardian will not be able to sign the diploma, please let us know.
Honors Graduates
Students who earn an unweighted grade point average of 3.65 or higher, will earn an honors designation. Our honors levels are as follows:
- 3.65 – 3.84 GPA: Honors
- 3.85 – 3.94 GPA: High Honors
- 3.95 – 4.00 GPA: Highest Honors
Academic Scholar and Industry Scholar Graduates
Students who meet specific academic criteria (see Academic Scholar Diploma Designation) will earn an Academic Scholar designation. Students who attain one or more industry certifications will earn an Industry Scholar designation.
Diploma Requests
Students may apply for graduation and request their diplomas as early as their 7th semester (or equivalent). Diplomas are mailed 2–4 weeks after all graduation requirements have been completed, documentation has been received, and financial obligations have been satisfied. If your student will be attending a graduation ceremony and time is an issue, please contact us to see if production can be expedited.
Students who have met the credit requirements for graduation but have not achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale may receive a high school Certificate of Completion. Note, however, that a high school Certificate of Completion does not carry any of the privileges of a high school diploma. Students earning a high school Certificate of Completion may have difficulty finding employment and getting into college.
Many colleges and universities require applicants who complete a home school program or graduate from a non-accredited high school to submit portfolios and/or transcripts to be considered for admission. The acceptance of diplomas from private schools is subject to the requirements of the receiving institution.
