Now Enrolling for the 2021-2022 School Year

Home School vs. Private (Umbrella) School

This is a simple comparison chart to help you differentiate between establishing a home education program with your district and enrolling your child at Aspiring Heights Academy. In Florida, students enrolled in "umbrella" schools, such as AHA, are by legal definition private schooled students, not home educated students. Visit the Florida Department of Education for detailed information about Florida private schools and home education.
